The Federal Trade Commission requires that, as of December 1, 2009, bloggers and other web authors clearly disclose “their connection, if any, with the advertisers; and also reveal the receipt of free products and or payments from the advertisers”.
I started this guitar site primarily to share links to resources on playing the guitar.
In the course of surfing the web on guitar-related topics, I stumbled onto the Learn and Master Guitar (LMG) with Steve Krenz training course. Based purely on my trusting the promotional material on the official site, and reading through a couple of positive feedback in forum discussions, I signed up to be an affiliate and asked them if they could ship a copy of their product to me (which they did) so that I could write up a review on it.
I ended up liking the training material very much, and wrote a brief review outlining the available lessons in the LMG kit. I continue to recommend the course highly on its own merits to this day.
Because I am an affiliate, I do earn a commission whenever a visitor clicks through the affiliate links in the review article. I maintain this site on a full-time basis, and I would like to say a big “Thank You” in advance if you liked the review and decide to purchase through the affiliate links.
Other advertising that I may run on this site from time-to-time are Google’s Adsense and Amazon’s Associates programs.
Again, these affiliate and advertising revenue streams are how I make a living full-time, and in return, I strive to provide content that’s valuable and relevant to your quest in improving your guitar skills.
